Succeeding at School with Social Emotional Learning

Challenging behavior impedes learning for many students with disabilities. Disruptive behavior is of great concern to educators and society. This session will highlight proactive school, classroom and individual strategies educators can utilize to promote social emotional skill development and decrease challenging behavior.

Using the three-tiered model of positive behavior supports, educators can develop a positive learning environment where students acquire skills necessary to lead meaningful, productive lives.
