Mike brings over 15 years of dynamic experience in driving strategic sales and fostering high-performance teams within the education market. His journey in sales commenced with a groundbreaking transition from leading instructional technology in a Utah school district to becoming Instructure’s (Canvas) first K12 hire. With significant roles at Clever, Bridge, Schoolinks, and Varsity Tutors, Mike has navigated hyper-growth environments, spearheading the launch of new products and divisions while contributing to several successful exits, including an IPO.

Mike’s approach to sales leadership centers on fostering collaboration, empowerment, and an unyielding commitment to surpassing targets. His belief in cultivating a culture that champions both individual and collective successes has been fundamental to his leadership style. Beyond work, Mike finds joy in skiing with his wife and five-year-old, or embarking on hikes with his miniature schnauzer, Hulu. Currently residing outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mike holds a Masters of Educational Leadership and Policy from The University of Utah.
